After the show. Your portrait reveal session on Zoom.

What Happens After Your Horse’s Portrait Session?

Your portrait session is just the beginning. After the show, I carefully review and prepare your images, then we meet for a relaxed portrait reveal where you can see your favourites and decide how you would love to enjoy them.

There is no need to choose anything on the day of your session. You’ll have time after the show to see your finished portraits, ask questions, compare options, and choose what feels right for you.

Step 1: I Carefully Prepare Your Portraits

After your session, I’ll review the images from your horse’s portrait time and select the strongest portraits for your reveal.

Each chosen image is professionally edited so you can view a polished collection. This may include refining the background, adjusting tones, cleaning up small distractions, and bringing out the best details in your horse’s expression, coat, and presence.

This part takes place after the show, so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Step 2: We Schedule Your Portrait Reveal

Once your images are ready, we’ll schedule a private Zoom appointment.

During this appointment, we’ll look through your portraits together. I’ll help you narrow down your favourites and talk through the best ways to display them, whether that’s one statement piece, a small collection, or a gift-sized print.

This is also when you’ll choose whether you would like to purchase prints, wall art, digital images, or other finished pieces.

Your $50 sitting fee does not include products or digital files.
All portrait purchases are made after you have seen your images.

Step 3: Send a Photo of Your Wall

If you’re considering wall art, one of the most helpful things you can do before your Zoom reveal is send me a quick photo of your wall.

This allows me to create a visual mockup showing what different portrait sizes could look like in your own space. It is much easier to choose between sizes when you can actually see the difference on your wall.

How to Take Your Wall Photo

  1. Tape a standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper to the wall where you might like your portrait to hang.

  2. Stand as straight-on to the wall as possible.

  3. Take the photo in good natural light, if available.

  4. Include the surrounding furniture or room details so we can understand the scale of the space.

  5. Do not use portrait mode or heavy filters.

  6. Send the photo before your Zoom reveal.

The sheet of paper gives me a real-world size reference, so I can show approximate portrait sizes more accurately.

Step 4: Preview Different Artwork Sizes

During your reveal, I can show examples of your favourite portrait as different sizes, such as:

  • 16 x 24

  • 20 x 30

  • 24 x 36

  • 30 x 40

  • Custom groupings or gallery-style displays

This helps you compare what feels too small, too large, or just right for your wall.

If you already know where you want your portrait to go, we can design around that space. If you’re unsure, we can talk through a few options together.

Step 5: Choose Your Finished Artwork

Orange Horse Studio is designed around finished artwork — portraits you can enjoy every day, not just files that sit on a computer.

You’ll be able to choose from options such as:

  • Framed canvas

  • Canvas

  • Fine art prints

  • Custom wall groupings

I’ll have samples available at the show so you can see the quality in person before your reveal appointment.

Step 6: Your Order Is Prepared

Once you have selected your favourites, your chosen portraits are prepared for production.

I’ll confirm the details of your order, including size, finish, frame or canvas option, and any final design choices. Once everything is approved, your artwork will be ordered and prepared for delivery or pickup

Wall Art That Belongs in Your Home

Your horse is more than a beautiful subject — they are part of your story. Orange Horse Studio creates finished portrait artwork designed to be displayed, lived with, and loved every day.

Each portrait is crafted with your home in mind, from dramatic studio lighting to heirloom-quality Italian framed canvas and fine art prints. Rather than offering small keepsake prints as the focus, my artwork begins at true wall art sizing so your finished piece feels intentional, elevated, and worthy of the bond you share with your horse.

From the session to the final artwork selection, I’ll guide you through the process so you can choose a piece that fits your space, your style, and your story.
